Finding a Soulmate Versus a Toxic Relationship

Finding a Soulmate Versus a Toxic Relationship

Always be aware of domestic violence and remember that in October, there is National Domestic Violence Awareness that is there so that people can be reminded that domestic violence is a real thing and a real enemy to many.

If you have been in an abusive relationship, you will understand that love is something that should be cherished and should be embraced. When you choose love, you are always going to have to deal with some problems because no relationship is perfect.

Sometimes, relationships will have regular problems such as arguing or being mad for a while. You may disagree about things that are small, and you may have a hard time sometimes getting along. These are all normal things.

When you are in a relationship that is abusive rather physically or mentally, this is a serious deal and is different than small problems.

Some people will find that they are in a relationship that is unhealthy and toxic. They will allow the person to abuse them because they believe that this kind of treatment is normal.

Another reason some people allow the abuse is because they believe that the person will change, and they will become a better partner to them. They may even do things to change themselves such as to change their looks or their attitude, just to get the abusive person to love them.

Truth About Relationships

  • No one should be abused even if they are not perfect.
  • You will never be perfect.
  • You can never make someone change unless they change themselves.
  • No matter how much you love or care someone, if they are abusing you, get out.

There are always problems in relationships and conflict is something that is normal. We all understand that we have situations where we won’t get along but when the partner is not treating you well, this is a problem that is bigger than an occasional disagreement.

Any kind of abuse is bad and should never be approved in a relationship. When you find that you are with someone that is abusive rather than be mentally, physically or emotionally, you need to figure out that the relationship is toxic and move on.

You may be someone that feels that you are the problem, and you might try to change to make them love you, but the truth is, it is not your responsibility to make someone love you. A real soulmate will never ask you to leave or ask you to change.

The best way to deal with someone that is with a soulmate that is abusive is to get out. You need to avoid any kind of negative energy that they give you and learn to meditate and be positive in your own life as you move on. The soulmate should be a reflection of who you are and if they are abusive, they are not a reflection of you.

As stated, October is Domestic Violence Awareness and always be aware of warning signs when you are with your soulmate.
